Science Saturdays

Every month, PAROC hosts a FREE event where the community can come spend an hour learning about science and doing hands-on activities. Each month is a new theme so there is something for everyone! ALL ages are welcome, caregivers must attend with children. Sign up for our Science Saturdays below!

December 10th, 10 AM - 11 AM

Join us as we focus on ways that water changes during the winter months and how this affects wildlife and aquatic ecosystems. We will also build a recycled jar snow globe craft with nature themed materials.

Registration required, limited to the first 20 participants who sign up.

Pre-K Storytime and Activity

We host a monthly science-themed Pre-K story time and hands on learning activity for kids!

Free and open but must register beforehand. Max of 10 children, caregivers must attend. Sign up for our Pre-K Storytime's below!

Thurs. December 1st, 2 PM - 3 PM

Join us as we discover where animals go in the winter! We will talk about what lives under the snow, what hibernation is, and what habitats are. Then, you will be able to build your own winter habitat for an animal!
