Fish in King Lake

All anglers fishing at King Lake between November 1 and April 15 are required to have a trout permit through KDWP. This costs $14.50 and can be purchased at the KDWP office nearby (1830 Merchant St.), on the GoOutdoorsKS app, or anywhere else that sells KDWP privileges. This is in addition to a general fishing license that is required to fish at King Lake any time throughout the year.
Anglers with a trout permit can keep up to 5/day with no length restrictions.
