KING LAKE

In early 2022, ESU worked with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) to implement a Community Fisheries Assistant Program (CFAP) on King Lake. This provides greater opportunities for managing King Lake, including routine fish sampling and fish stockings, all done hand-in-hand with fisheries students at ESU.

King Lake is a Public Fishing Lake!

A valid fishing license from KDWP is required throughout the year with the same requirements as other publicly accessible fisheries.
